Hotel Bero - Ostend

The hotel offers spacious rooms and a great breakfast, but the pool was too cold for comfort! 😕

Location very close to the shops, the seafront and the beaches. A great selection of goodies for breakfast.

Nothing too much trouble, had an amazing stay for a business trip. We ate at a pleasant restaurant at the ground floor. It had pleasant views of the sea and a modern decor. The location was great, at a moderate distance from a Roman Catholic Neo-Gothic church. There were a shopping area and a market around the hotel.

The staff - some of them were rather noisy.

Consider booking spa treatments early, as they can fill up quickly, ensuring a more relaxing experience during your stay.

Absolutely loved the location, but let's not overlook the cardboard glasses in the bathroom-ugh, so cheap. And the noise from aircon pipes was unbearable! I almost gave a good review, but i was waiting for an upgrade as i deserve better treatment. It's a mess in here just waiting for someone to acknowledge it.

We were able to check in early, which was useful. The room was spacious and adequately furnished, if a little dated. My wife and I slept well, which is unusual when away from home. The breakfast was good and set us up for a brisk walk along the coast. We would return again. The sat nav had some difficulty find the address and parking is expensive (EUR 25 for a day). This is not the hotel's fault as parking is expensive everywhere

Explore the surrounding area and enjoy local attractions. I appreciated the clean and spacious rooms, as well as the well-maintained pool. The parking fees were a bit high for my liking, and the overall value could be improved.

The breakfast buffet had an excellent variety of local cheeses and fresh fruits.

While the wellness facilities were nice, the spa could benefit from more attentive staff and better maintenance.

the staff were friendly and helpful at all times I felt to be made at home during my stay here the facilities were clean and up to date my room was kept clean throughout my stay

I was not happy that the sauna and steam bath were advertised as part of the hotel facilities not listed as chargeable.....eight euros per person per hour....not proper...not fair!

I faced WiFi issues in the Classic Family Room and the response from the staff was unhelpful. Breakfast had limited hot food options which weren't refreshed promptly. The wellness facilities felt neglected, with parts not operational, diminishing the relaxation experience I was hoping for.
